  3. Hi this is Conner from homeroom. I used the ancient Egypt Timeline for kids. I connected from the egypt building the pyramid video. In the timeline it said that they made a temple for the sun god Ra. I saw how many men and how much sacrifice it took for the tomb. I would think that the Egyptians would have to have the same sacrifice. Because whenever they would build they thought it has to be the best. Also they thought pharaohs were in the same class as gods so they would give the same quality with there temples for their gods.

    1. Hi Conner this is Gabby from homeroom I also saw that on the timeline too and I would agree they did probably sacrifice a lot and I don't think my parents would let me work on the pyramid because of how long I would be away.

  4. Hi Ms.Muhl this is Sarah T. from Mr.Stoners class and I checked out the Egyptian and Mesopotamian timelines. So when I was checking out the Egyptian timeline I saw that Egyptians created hieroglyphics around 3200 B.C. Then, when I went to the Mesopotamian timeline I saw that the Mesopotamian created cuneiform around 3300 B.C. So I was thinking maybe the Mesopotamian adapted their form of writing to hieroglyphics.

  5. Hi Ms.Muhl It's Matthew from Mr.Stoners class and I found out the Egyptians would take letters about the farmers and how many crops they grew. That is like the Census but instead of everyone they just did the farmers and their crops. I can also say in my family we keep count of who does what chore so who ever did that chore the other person has to do that chore, that is sort of like what the Egyptians did.

I looked at the geography timelines and I didn't know that in 2055 b.c. Mentuhotep II ruled the entire country. I thought only king Hammurabi Ruled an empire like that. I think it would stink to be under rule like that.

  15. Hi ms. Muhl it is Nate. B I looked at the ancient timeline. I learned that the first dose of medicine was taken in 1700 B.C. I thought that was interesting because when I take medicine it is no problem it comes in a bottle for them they have to get everything and theen drink it. That must be gross, if it helps cure something it would be worth it.

  18. Hi Ms.Muhl this is Sarah T. from Mr.Stoners class. I looked at the Ancient Egypt timeline and learned that the Egyptians first Pharaoh was Menes or that's what the Egyptians called him because no one really knew his name. So Menes combined Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt to make one kingdom with a capitol at Memphis between 3110-2884 BC.

  20. Hi Ms. Muhl this is Karissa from mr.stoners and I looked at eh ancient Egypt timeline for kids, I never knew that from 395- 1821A.D. hieroglyphics weren't used and in 1822 A.D. that Rosetta Stone helped Jean Francois Chompollion break the hieroglyphic code! that is so weird that they forgot what the hieroglyphics meant, I'm really glad we know what they mean, now we can have a glimpse of what it was liked in ancient Egypt!
